With over 30 years of experience in the agri-food sector, Dave is currently Deputy Head of Food Division in Welsh Government managing all aspects of food policy development and implementation.  Interfacing with business and all food/drink sector stakeholders, growing trade and investment in the sector.  

Some of his previous work includes leading on Working Smarter Programme to improve the regulatory environment that applies to farming and land based industry and achieve increased efficiency to ensure a sustainable future as well as leading policy on CAP Reform which included securing a CAP Health Check outcome that was compatible with the needs of the industry in Wales.
