Professor Isabelle Durance is Professor of Integrated Water Sciences at Cardiff University and Director Cardiff Water Research Institute. In that role her mission is to foster world-leading interdisciplinary research that will have strong impact and be used as evidence by decision makers. She has a background in ecology and broad research interests in ecosystem services, climate change and river ecosystems.
