Dr Richard Unsworth is Associate Professor in Bioscience at Swansea University. He has done extensive research on the role that seagrass meadows, which surround our shores here in Wales, can play in soaking up carbon and slowing climate change. He is a founding director of Project Seagrass which is committed to the conservation of seagrass ecosystems.
