Danielle Bragg

Solicitor
Capital Law

Danielle joined Capital Law in September 2017 as a paralegal in the Construction, Energy and Projects team, qualifying into the team in March 2020.

Danielle does both contentious and non-contentious work and advises a range of public and private sector clients.  Danielle’s non-contentious work is mainly focused on development finance.  She also advises clients on the review and negotiation of JCT and NEC Contracts, along with other bespoke forms of contracts and appointments.

Since April 2020, Danielle has been heavily involved in several large scale industrial decarbonisation projects, funded by UK Research and Innovation.  Namely, the South Wales Industrial Cluster’s “Cluster Plan Project” and its sister project, the “Deployment Project”.  Danielle helped set up the Collaboration Agreements for both projects, provides strategic advice on risk and mitigation, planning and project management guidance and ad-hoc legal advice on specific queries from the project partners.

In her previous role at an energy company, Danielle gained experience in dealing with NEC contracts and energy contracts (Connection Offers and Agreements) while supporting the Commercial & Legal Director.  Danielle led the process of acquiring easements with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and gas network operators, to connect service media (such as, electricity, gas and telecommunications) to the power stations the energy company constructed.
