Tim Ash Vie has served as the Director of the Under2 Coalition Secretariat since 2017. The Under2 Coalition is a leading, international network of 260 national and state governments that have committed to ambitious climate action, with members in over 40 countries and in every continent covering 50% of global GDP. In the early 2000s, Tim worked for the UK Government to develop the country’s responses to climate change before focusing on the particular challenge of climate change in developing countries. He has nearly twenty years’ experience of delivering climate action in the UK and internationally. Tim’s personal climate change experience spans China, Mexico, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Zambia and South Africa.
