Sue Husband is the Director of Business in the Community (BITC) Cymru, with a mission to put responsible business at the heart of every business in Wales.

Sue was previously a senior civil servant, in the Department for Education, overseeing the National Apprenticeship Service and the National Careers Service. In her early career Sue worked for McDonald’s UK and held many roles including leading McDonald’s education and apprenticeship programmes.

Sue now supports businesses in Wales to be responsible employers, including creating meaningful employment and reimagining ways of working that transform mental health and wellbeing at work. 

Sue was awarded an OBE for her services to Education and Skills, in the Queen’s New Year Honours list 2021.
