Vyvyan Evans

Wetlands Project Manager
Dwr Cymru Welsh Water

After graduating Vyvyan has previously worked in the public sector on Climate Change and Environmental Management research. Vyvyan then joined the charity sector where she worked in the UK and abroad on Environmental and Humanitarian Response projects, where she saw how all too often, in the haste to respond to an emergency or short term development needs, the sustainability of projects and their environmental impact was often ignored; jeopardising the long term success for both the environment and local users. So, Vyvyan decided to return to university to study an MSc in Water Security and Sustainable Development at UEA.  Vyvyan now works for Dwr Cymru as Wetlands Project Manager, working on a range of projects linked to Nature Based Solutions to Wastewater Treatment targets. Outside of Welsh Water, Vyvyan is a bee keeper, and is learning to kite surf.
