Emily-Rose is a passionate young leader working as a Specialist Advisor for flood risk management at Natural Resources Wales. She has varied experience working in the public sector, in both the railway and environmental sector with a focus in asset management and understanding the link between climate change and the future of adaptation. Emily-Rose believes in working with nature and not against it, researching approaches for the prediction and management of natural hazards to prevent catastrophic failures and loss of life. 

Emily is also very passionate about being the voice in a typically male-dominated environment. Actively working towards SDG Goal 5 - Gender Equality, Emily-Rose attends conferences, schools and various workshops in empowering women through STEM.
