Goro has been engaging in trade promotion of Welsh goods and services as well as attracting Japanese investment into Wales since September 2003. In the trade promotion, he covers all areas except for consumer goods, Education and Arts & Culture. Recently he’s been heavily involved in the promotion of Welsh Tech sector such as Compound Semiconductor and Cyber Security in Japan market. Green Energy and Infrastructure is one of the key sectors where Japanese businesses have a strong appetite to have a conversation towards the 2050 net-zero carbon target set by Japanese Government.
