Healthy Working Wales would like to recognise and celebrate employers and teams across Wales who have demonstrated dedication to their staff wellbeing, innovation and creativity in their response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This will be done via a series of commendations presented at a virtual commendation event which will take place on Wednesday 08 December. This event will be a place where businesses can learn from each other and showcase their achievements during this challenging time.

Since the beginning of 2020, Covid-19 has and continues to be the single greatest threat to businesses and organisations. They have, and continue to, overcome a multitude of immediate and practical challenges throughout this period in order to achieve a level of resilience, confidence and safety for their workforce. As steps are taken to move beyond lockdown, further steps are being taken to address new challenges as businesses and organisations start to bring employees back into the workplace.

Public Health Wales and Welsh Government wish to acknowledge the efforts of those businesses, organisations and teams during the last 18 months and provide a platform from which to foster learning and support amongst HWW members and the wider business community in Wales.

The submission portal for entries is NOW OPEN.

We encourage you to submit your entry/entries by midnight on Friday 15 October for the opportunity to gain recognition, reward the hard work behind your successful initiatives, and help to boost your team’s morale and motivation – particularly after such a challenging period. Please register to attend the event to access further information and resources and hear from other businesses about their initiatives.
