David McClelland is a journalist and broadcaster specialising in technology, telecoms and consumer affairs. David’s career began in the IT industry leading major transformation projects in the financial services, media and telecoms sectors for companies including IBM, Dell and Fujitsu.

Now a go-to name on British television reporting on how technology is changing our lives, David has for the last decade been BBC Rip Off Britain’s resident technology consumer champion, led major cybercrime investigations for BBC Watchdog and The One Show, presented mobile technology show Planet of the Apps, reported for BBC Newsround and Right on the Money, and is a regular on Good Morning BritainSteph’s Packed LunchBBC Crimewatch Live and Morning Live.

As a journalist and writer, David’s bylines include national newspapers and specialist titles such as Metro, Computer Weekly, Wired, CNET, TechRadar and International Business Times. 

David is an in-demand event host and speaker, moderating conferences, roundtables, fireside chats and panel sessions, as well as delivering keynote speeches.
